I started using it a week after my daughter Ava was born.  It was really easy to use, and as a new Mom and a first time breast pump user this was so important. I did not even have to read the instructions but they were there and clear according to my husband Daniel. Philips AVENT allows you to sit comfortably while pumping which is a huge relief for many women. Many pumps only operate correctly if you are leaning forward but Philips AVENT’s system lets you sit upright when you pump. The breast pump’s angled neck lets milk flow naturally from breast to bottle while you relax or multitask when necessary. Being able to sit in a physically relaxing position also has a more positive effect on how milk flows and the quantity that is produced.

Philips AVENT is easily assembled and has three operating modes to keep pumping simple. You can choose which mode is best for you and your circumstance at any given pumping moment and after you turn on the pump it begins gentle stimulation to encourage letdown. You can then choose from three other pumping settings to find the one that’s most comfortable for you.

Philips AVENT really thought of everything in the pump’s design because it also has a massage cushion with five textured petals that are intended to stimulate milk flow. That cushion is similar to a baby’s natural sucking patterns which also makes pumping more comfortable.

The very best thing about the pump is I was able to pump enough milk so that my husband Daniel was able to help out by giving Ava bottles from the milk I was able to express.  It gave me much needed breaks.
